We are a Christian, faith-based company that understands our success is determined by the quality of our product and our customer relations as we serve God, our team and our community.
For Regal Packaging Services, declaring to be a Christian or, in this case, a Christian, faith-based business in today’s culture can create a havoc of misunderstanding. Given the kind of attention that Christian churches and Christians in general are getting in the press, and the public failings of several Christian leaders and churches, you might think Regal would keep its head down and remain incognito as much as possible. But we believe that living and doing business by Christian principles lies at the core of our standards and what makes us so good at what we do. It is these faith-based principles that undergird all the other seven.
First, by faith
We understand that we have a unique calling to apply a high standard of quality to our product. As a reference point, we consider carefully the words of Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
So, as we take up the various tasks in any given day, we fulfil each duty as if God was watching over us, both to examine and to assist us. Just imagine that your dad (hopefully, yours is [or was] as good a man as mine was) is standing over your shoulder, watching everything you’re doing. Whatever it is you’re working on, you want to make him proud. Even better, you know if you run into a problem, you know you can turn your shoulder and ask for help.
And 1 Corinthians 10:31 instructs us: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” The end-product we ship is the best we can provide. We are, of course, not perfect, and not everything is perfect. However, when we’ve made a mistake, our immediate instinct is to make it right.
Second, by faith
Not only do we want our product to be excellent, but we also want our service to be exceptional as well. Whether we are communicating by email, phone or on our website, we try to speak with the utmost courtesy and understanding. We know that you want to be treated the way we want to be treated, with a golden rule attitude (Matthew 7:12). And that means processing orders as quickly as possible, with attention to order details and sending notifications about orders.
We offer free shipping on orders over $200 and we make returns as painless as possible. In fact, we err on the side of the customer. For instance, we understand that mistakes can be made when you place an order. Sometimes someone may order a ferrous and two non-ferrous items when they meant to order ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel. Or an order might be placed for 1.5” balls and it turns out they are too large for the job, 1” balls were needed. With a simple call or email, the issue can be handled very easily, often with a simple swap.
Third, by faith
And when it comes to the financial aspects of the business, while we certainly want to make a profit, we’re not out to price gouge or take advantage of our customers to get ahead. Our products are priced so that we can stay on the cutting edge of available technology, but also not so high as to create a burden on our customers’ pocketbook.
